London Times Commentary on Replacement of Dollar

The Times has a good article on why there really is no substitute for the dollar, even if everyone wants to bring the US down a peg. A good article for us all.

  1. This is a good article. I am still trying to understand what all of this means. I don't know that the dollar will be necessarily replaced, but I do think that the control of the dollar will be put into some international body. I can't state it any better.

If the decline of the dollar continues, the dollar will become just about worthless. So how will America pay back all the debt that it owes to the world? In order for money to function as money it has to have value or represent something.

I don't know all of the effects that the decline of the dollar will have, but it is definitely causing a new paradigm or a change in the status quo or the power structure of the world economies. What that is I don't know yet, but it is worth ones time to pay attention to see what the potential effects this will have on America and each individual.

  2. Hmmm. Interesting article. It still amazes me how in your face obvious that this health care issue is a bad move. I would really like to see how a financial genius can logically explain why the health care reform will benefit our country economically. I have heard logical reasoning as to why we should cut government spending but only emotional whining to why we should increase it.

You think they want to help the economy and improve health care. Well that is wrong and why you are amazed. You are listening to their stated goals but not the actual consequences and end results. To spur economic growth and increase government revenue all you have to do is cut taxes. It is an undeniable truth. Why would they then raise taxes? http://www.heritage.org/Research/Taxes/wm327.cfm

It is about passing and implementing their agenda of remaking evil and unfair America. Why would they do the exact opposite of what they should be doing? They want to collapse the system so they can rebuild it into a more just and equitable system. Most people's minds shuts off when you tell them that. They don't want to and can not believe this. It is an obvious destruction of America. The economy could be well on its way to recovery if they wanted it to. That does not fit into their purposes so it is not happening. I think it was Germany that cut taxes and now they are getting out of the recession. Who cares though. Got life to live.
