Only YOU Can Prevent Government Waste

A local businessmen and radio host, Jeff Kopf, did an entertaining bit on local government waste. Check it out for yourself.

We already do a good job on investigative journalism on this blog. However, Jeff's foundation called "Oregon Capitol Watch" encourages citizens to report any wasteful spending that they see in their local area. His foundation may have the ability to make more publicity.

Just another ally in the conservative fight.

Here is a speech made by Jeff Kropf. I met this guy and spoke with him for about 45 minutes. He is pretty motivating.

  2. I would be cautious about joining an organization. I like his idea of starting a conservative/classical liberal organizations in colleges that will counter the large number of the liberal organizations and cultural influences in the university system. Freedom has been carried down through the ages and fought for by a small minority that have sacrificed their wealth, families, and lives. Maybe you can start an organization at your school that will attract this small minority that will make a difference. Movements that change the world have small beginnings. You should find this small minority at your school and motivate them to create and sustain an organization that will make a difference.

  3. Well said. That is my goal.

We have to find the core individuals who are lovers of liberty. We need to start with a nucleus of motivated fiscal conservatives. I have no doubt we can do that. The hard part will be effectively making a difference. Not really sure how to do that. But we can't get anything done unless we organize.

There will be a meeting in room 294 at the SMSU building at Portland State University on Wednesday the 12th. 7pm to 8pm. There will be free pizza and refreshments. We are initiating movement to organize a student organization on campus to combat the left's incredible ability to mobilize youth votes.
