  1. According to a liberal law professor that agrees with Obama agenda but not the way that he is enacting it:
'Americans are in danger of losing their liberties as the country shifts to an 'imperial presidency,' with power concentrated in the executive branch, constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley said on Fox News."

"Turley said Obama's failure to inform Congress he was releasing five Taliban prisoners from the military prison in Guantanamo Bay over the weekend is the latest example of his ignoring the law."

"'What's emerging is an imperial presidency, an über-presidency as I've called it, where the president can act unilaterally,' Turley said. Turley was among several witnesses testifying before the House Judiciary Committee in February, in which he warned of a constitutional crisis if Congress fails to maintain its power.

"Unfortunately, he said, America's system is changing.

"'And it's changing without a debate, or even a discussion.'"

Some say this is a way for Obama to close Gitmo. http://hotair.com/archives/2014/06/02/the-bergdahl-deal-a-test-case-for-emptying-gitmo/

Maybe the solider was working for the CIA. He let himself get captured so that this exchange could happen. Those prisoners have computer chips implanted in them so that the government can track them. The prisoners will go back to the fighting giving the government a way to track the terrorist groups. This is probably not the case though.

  2. That would be awesome if the captives had chips implanted. That would be genius. However, that would have probably hard to legally do.

This should have definitely gone to congress.
